About MAP

Built for groups that take preparedness seriously.

MAP started with a simple observation: serious mutual aid groups were doing important work with no infrastructure built for them.

The Mission

Infrastructure for communities that prepare together.

Most groups have the motivation. What they lack is the infrastructure. Skill tracking happens in spreadsheets. Gear coordination happens in group chats. Readiness assessments don't happen at all — because there's no easy way to do them.

MAP gives mutual aid groups and preparedness communities a purpose-built platform: track member progression across seven capability domains, coordinate training events, manage group inventory, and measure your group's actual readiness — not just what you hope it is.

We built this because we believe a prepared community is a resilient community. The work matters. The tools should match.

The Founders

The product vision and the field expertise.

MAP was founded by a father and daughter team — one with deep roots in preparedness and mutual aid communities, the other with a background in product and technology. Together, they saw the same gap from different angles: serious groups doing important work, with no infrastructure built for them.

The field experience comes from Project 22:3 — a preparedness organization built on the conviction that a prudent person sees danger coming and prepares. That operational knowledge shapes every decision MAP makes, ensuring the platform reflects how preparedness actually works on the ground.

What We Believe

The principles behind the platform.

Readiness is earned, not assumed.

A checklist doesn't make you prepared. Trained skills, practiced coordination, and honest assessment do. MAP is built around that reality.

Community is the plan.

No individual survives long alone. The groups that make it are the ones that prepared together — with shared skills, shared gear, and shared trust.

Your privacy is yours.

Preparedness communities operate on trust. MAP gives every member control over what they share — down to the individual data point.
