1. Information We Collect

MAP collects only the information necessary to provide the platform. At a minimum, an email address is required to create an account. Additional profile information — including your name, callsign, location, and skill data — is optional and entirely under your control.

2. How We Use Your Information

Information you provide is used to operate and improve the MAP platform, communicate with you about your account, and — where you have opted in — send product updates. We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. What Your Group Can See

MAP gives you granular control over your visibility within an organization. By default, other members of your group can see your overall readiness score. The following information is always private unless you explicitly choose to share it:

• Specific tasks and checklist completion status
• Individual gear items you have not marked as shareable
• Personal information you have not added to the platform

You can adjust your visibility settings at any time from your profile.

4. Data Security

Message boards within MAP are end-to-end encrypted. We implement industry-standard security practices across the platform and take every reasonable step to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss.

5. Data Retention

You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Third-Party Services

MAP uses a limited number of third-party services to operate the platform (for example, hosting, email delivery, and analytics). These providers are contractually obligated to handle your data in accordance with this policy and applicable law.
